Daily8 is a UAE-based AI MediaTech startup building a centralised platform for news, podcasts, and videos tailored by country and interest, live now at daily8.com/en. After a stalled engagement with a previous provider, Daily8 switched to 7Code to design and ship the product end-to-end: a React Native iOS + Android app, the daily8.com web experience, an admin dashboard, and an AI layer on OpenAI + AWS Lambda for automated comment moderation, daily wrap-up summaries, and balanced-opinion features.

Daily8 came to us after a stalled engagement with a prior vendor. The product had to span three content formats, news, podcasts, and videos, feel personal from session one, and keep community spaces clean as comments scaled. All inside a six-month runway from blank canvas to App Store and Play Store readiness.

We took the product from discovery to release: one month of focused UI/UX, four months of mobile and admin development, and parallel AI integration across moderation and summarisation. React Native on the front, AWS Lambda for the backend, OpenAI behind the AI features, chosen so the app would scale cleanly as Daily8's audience grew across the Emirates and the wider MENA region.
